I am still in Nice, in a café where they make organic, healthy, local food, drinking a kombucha, my chair right under the air conditionned. Yes, it’s that hot.

I was missing Nice and its very hot summer, I can tell now that I am pleased, I am having my dose of sweat.

I am off for a few days, and amongst my cooking experiments, I moved again as I am still in a gipsy mood (actually not really in the mood anymore but it is what it is) I celebrated my sister’s birthday without my sister but with her friends at least, and as it is Tuesday, write my blog.

I made this dish for one of my client last week and it was so delicious, so easy to make that I thought of you, my people, and wanted to share that with you.

Actually, it’s my fishmonger who gave me this recipe as on the top of being a great fishmonger, he can cook too.
Talking about my client who is allergic to prawns, we talked about red mullet and cod as main. It’s was so good, so fast to make and so easy. What a great idea !

Ingredients, for 2 people

-2 pieces of cod (around 200g/0.44 lb each)
-Half of an onion
-1 orange
-4/5 slices of bacon

In a tray, place your onion finely chopped, then, on the top, your cod wrapped in bacon, and cover with the orange juice.
Put it in the oven for around 20min (till the bacon gets crispy) at 180°C / 350°F. While cooking, hydrate your fish regularly with the orange juice in your tray.

Et c’est tout.

Writing this post reminds me how easy it is for such a nice result.
Merci my fishmonger !
