What to say about peanut butter….

That it’s one of my guilty pleasure, my soft spot….

Never tried before landing in London 13 years ago. I tried. I fell in love.

I’ve always loved peanuts, any kind of dish or bowl on a counter with something that tastes a bit like peanut and I get excited.

So peanut butter became one of my dearest.

I don’t eat a lot of it but from time to time when I run out of jam for my morning ‘tartine’ I make peanut butter. As always, making your own is best. I know, it wont make the thing lighter, peanut and oil, come on ! But it makes it tastier without adding too much preservatives to its ‘not lightness’.

It’s like everything good in life, I don’t abuse, I just treat myself, no frustration, and it’s to balance with my healthy diet, life is a question of balance, no?

So a little tartine or a little cake once in a while with your favourite thing even though this ‘thing’ is peanut butter makes life a lot more enjoyable.

Ingredients, for 1 tin loaf

-4/5 ripe bananas
-2 cups of oat
-1 cup of peanut butter
-1 cup of chocolate chips
-Half a cup of milk or water

Preheat your oven at 180°C.

Mash the bananas, add the 3 other ingredients to it, pour the mix into a baking tin loaf with baking parchment and bake for 25/30 min.

Wait a few minutes before unmolding and enjoy !
